Curt Hagman was elected to serve San Bernardino County’s Fourth District in November of 2014 and was named unanimously by his colleagues as the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in January 2019, and again in 2021. Mayor Paul Leon was appointed to the Ontario City Council in 1998. He was later elected to the City Council in 1999 and re-elected in 2000 and 2004. He served as Mayor pro Tem from December 2002 until January 2005. Paul was elected to Mayor in a special election in June 2005 and re-elected to four year terms in November 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018. Subsequently he has been Mayor for 15 years.

He is a microbiologist by training and previously served as Chief Operations/ Administrative Officer at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.  He also led the clinical and support services for Alameda Health System in Northern California. Assistant Sheriff Sam Fisk began his career with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in 1989, as a Sheriff’s Explorer at the Fontana Sheriff’s Station. At the age of 21, he became a Reserve Deputy Sheriff assigned to Central Station on patrol. In 1994, Sam attended the 117th Academy Session and graduated from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Basic Academy. Over the next 23 years, he has had the opportunity to work assignments throughout the county.
